My Reflection in ICT Quarter 2

During the second quarter of my ICT course, I delved into the world of HTML and its fundamental tags that form the backbone of web development. The <html> tag serves as the starting point, encapsulating the entire document, while the </html> tag gracefully concludes it. Within this structure, the <title> tag designates the title of the webpage, and the <body> tag becomes the canvas for content placement.

In the realm of text formatting, I gained insight into the significance of tags such as <b> for bold text, <i> for italicizing, <big> for enlarging, and <small> for reducing text size. These tags not only add visual appeal to the content but also contribute to conveying emphasis and hierarchy in the presented information. Understanding how to wield these tags empowers me to craft web content that is both visually engaging and structurally sound.

Furthermore, my exploration extended to the aesthetic aspects of web design. I learned how to incorporate images into the background using the <body background=""> tag, lending a dynamic and visually pleasing backdrop to the webpage. Additionally, the <body bgcolor=""> tag equipped me with the ability to infuse vibrant colors into the background, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the digital space. These lessons in HTML not only expanded my technical skill set but also deepened my appreciation for the intricate fusion of code and creativity in the realm of web development.
